if you know me, you know that i LOVE cards.  i hoard them – when MoMA is having a sale of any kind, i pick up cards – i make cards, i send cards i am a card freakatic (fanatic to the freak degree) so when burger announced their new hannukah cards, i was elated.

then i checked ‘em out — turns out this is the only real hannukah card.  one has reindeer (not a jewish thing) another has santa (also not jewish) and the last has a woman riding a dreidel – the woman is a cowgirl (not stereotypically jewish + too pornographic to send to grandma) nice try jon burgerman, 1/4 isn’t so bad.

this is a super fun portrait i created for an old high school friend; she gifted it off & i hear the recipient was thrilled (yay!) i’ve been attempting to keep the prismPOP facebook page up to date – but sometimes i get confused overwhelmed jumbled with all the avenues of social networking.  did you hear john mayer quit twitter?

it’s no secret that i love paper <prismPOP> – but it may be a surprise to you that i hoard wrapping paper under my bed <i know they say your bed should have air under it, i know i know>  i have so much wrapping paper because i love personalizing gifts – frequently adding playful tchotchkes to the bow <mini sharpies, bells, candy, etc.> so here are just a few of my favoritest sheets from nineteem seventy three + vigo

voila! my top 9 picks of 27 joes (remember? here’s the list + these are the joes + sorry tribbiani, i burnt out) it was a fun challenge to limit the time spent on each and to come up with an individualized representation of the joe while keeping with a greater theme.  keep an eye out on my shop where i have non-joes and customized canvases for sale.  would really love to know if you have a favorite joe – sometimes i become too attached to a particular image for no real reason.  it’s always interesting to hear feedback!  <3 thanks
