when i lived on avenue b, giant robot was a once-a-week destination. at that time it was 2 adjacent shops, connected in the rear. one housed books + toys; the other, toys + gallery. at some point since my brooklyn migration – the shop became one, fortunately maintaining the art gallery. saturday’s line-up looks pretty great
