wendel johnston is a fellow artist from the young designer’s market in soho. he creates wonderful repurposed mens’ jackets, which he sells there. yesterday, after an embarrassing lesson on trinidad’s location, he encouraged me to hit the streets – to set up shop shop 5th avenue. evdiently he did it for years and was very happy with the outcome. i don’t offer pashmina shawls for $10 but i am intrigued. my small bones are too cold even indoors, but perhaps come spring, it will be a nice change of pace . . .
so while you ponder my madness, trinidad and tabogo can be your bonus country.
