spent the weekend in washington dc visiting old stomping grounds with wonderful company.
friday went to the smithsonian craft show, which was smaller than i had anticipated. couldn’t tell who the intended audience was because the assortment was so varied, but my favorites included iron design company, deborah faye adler + andrea janosik – the latter of two hail from brooklyn. yeps, traveled four hours – 8 total to come home with a fort green necklace (adler’s):
saturday was spent at the hirshhorn enjoying a little respite from swampy oppressive heat (no really, i love the sun but they were out of 2ball-screwballs)
over the course of several miles logged, snapped the following two images of sweet street art – would love to know more if “you” have any info
and now i’m going back into my cave of prep for handmade cavalcade, renegade and bazaar bizarre <which i know you are sick of hearing about but hey it’s not a blog world>. it’s an 80 in coney, going to do the most important things (soak up sun, eat, art) world. xo, xo
