David Zwirner is pleased to announce the launch of the gallery’s first annual summer Pop-Up Bookstore. For one week only—Monday, August 9 through Friday, August 13—there will be special offers on a selection of rare and out-of-print books, signed artist catalogues, DVDs, and more.

Current Exhibition: Spider Silk An incredible 11 by 4 foot textile made with the golden silk of female spiders from Madagascar (and only collected during the rainy season when it is  produced by the majestic arachnids).  The magnificent work took four years to complete, using techniques centuries old.  Did you know that spider silk is stronger than steel <when compared by weight> and can stretch up to 40% of its normal length?  Cool!
